Hand Lettering | Calligraphy

During my mentorship program with Maria Montes, I had an opportunity to create a meaningful lettering series. This series was born out of the realisation that women apologise for everything. This is the first piece out of the continuing project which prompts women to never be sorry for asking questions and learning.

My lettering process involves calligraphy tools, sketches and countless versions on baking paper before finally bring it into illustrator to vectorise. Lettering gives me an eye for detail and an understanding of how beneficial an iterative design process can be.
