This is Not Art (TiNA) is a Newcastle art festival with an extensive history. For their 23rd iteration, TiNA approached us to create something bold, graphic and fringe for their promotional material and collateral. The campaign plays with the idea of ‘this is not…’ which prompts the audience to question their understanding of art and engage with the festival. My strength in hand lettering led to the grunge style hand rendered lettering that runs through the campaign. Overall, the campaign gives insight into the rebellious nature of the festival and the notion of art.
